It's natural to be curious and wonder what happens when your house
is shown to a prospective buyer. However, most Realtors ask that
you as the seller be absent when your house is shown. The Realtor,
working as the buyer's agent, bringing his clients to see your
house knows his/her buyers very well.
If you were present at the showing, you may chatter about unnecessary
things pertaining to your house. Also, there is the problem of
creating possible overcrowding. If buyers raise questions, a good
Realtor can handle them properly.
Prospective buyers need to be able to see all rooms, windows,
closets, and other areas of the house without feeling overcrowded.
Remember: falling in love with a house is like falling in love
with a person. Three's a crowd!
