• Mow your lawn, seed or fertilize if necessary, and get rid of any debris or trash that's in your yard.
• Paint any exterior parts of the house that need it.
• Make sure your windows and screens are in working order.
• Replace old doormats with new ones that don't have your name on it.
• Shampoo carpets or replace them if necessary.
• Make your closets look roomier by getting rid of excess clothes or items.
• Make your kitchen counters look bigger by storing away excess items.
• Remove items that you don't want to sell with the house. For example, a special lighting fixture or chandelier
• Clean out storage sheds or garages.
• Make sure the appliances to be conveyed are properly working.
